The Project is located within the Sioux Lookout area, located on Pelican Falls Road and Sioux Mountain Road off Highway 664 to upgrade the road to ensure safe motor vehicle travel and to provide a new parking area for public use to be completed in the Summer/Fall of 2025. The Project will require the removal and disposal of asphalt found on Pelican Falls Road and Sioux Mountain Road up to 2.5 km in length. The 2.5 km of the roadway are to have gravel added, be leveled, and graded for vehicle travel. A 200m2 parking lot will be established along Sioux Mountain Road, which will require removal of trees, leveling of ground and grading of surface with gravel for vehicle parking.
