Dayton Sidewalk

Overview

The Municipality of Yarmouth invites qualified contractors to submit quotations for the construction of a new concrete sidewalk extension in Dayton, Nova Scotia. The project consists of approximately 370 metres of new sidewalk construction, continuing south from the existing terminus of the current sidewalk network. The work will generally include site preparation, excavation, granular base installation, concrete sidewalk construction, grading, restoration, and all associated works necessary to complete the project in accordance with the contract documents and specifications. This project is intended to improve pedestrian connectivity, accessibility, and safety by extending the existing sidewalk infrastructure within the community of Dayton. Contractors are responsible for providing all labour, materials, equipment, traffic control, and incidentals required to complete the work.
