Key Requirements

• The Contractor shall provide a valid standard Certificate of Recognition (COR), or a valid
• Temporary Letter of Certification (TLC) for a standard COR, or a COR Equivalency Letter (COREL) for out of province Proponents, as issued by Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA) or another certifying partner authorized by Alberta Ministry of Skilled Trades and Professions to issue CORs, TLCs, CORELs or Small Employer Certificate of Recognition (SECOR).
• If the Contractor cannot provide a valid COR, SECOR, or Temporary Letter of Certification, they must instead submit both a company safety plan and a site-specific safety plan for the duration of the project, as a precondition for Contract Award.
