This ITT is an invitational solicitation run via one of BC Housing’s region-specific prequalified rosters for Prime Contractors. This second stage ITT has been posted publicly to enable Subcontractors and/or Trades who are interested in participating in the project to connect with the invited prequalified Bidders listed below. Questions submitted after this deadline will not receive a response. MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING Bidders must attend an information meeting on the specified date and time below: Date: Friday, August 7, 2026 Time: 11:30 am PT Location of Information Meeting: 554 Garrett Place, Esquimalt, BC V9A 7J6 Site visits begin promptly at the time, date and location specified above. A sign-in sheet will be provided, and all Bidders are required to sign in. Note that submissions will only be reviewed for those Bidders who have attended and signed the sign-in sheet. No exceptions to this will be permitted. All questions and enquiries from the site visit must be submitted to the ITT Contact person prior to the date and time as per section 3.2 Timetable. Representatives of your firm attending a site visit must provide and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment. OPTIONAL INFORMATION MEETING Bidders may attend an information meeting on the specified date and time below: Date: Tuesday, August 11, 2026 Time: 11:30 a.m. PT Location of Information Meeting: 554 Garrett Place, Esquimalt, BC V9A 7J6 Brief Description of Work The work includes Fire Sprinkler Installation, to improve fire protection and ensure compliance with applicable fire and building code requirements, and as further set out at Appendices: Appendix E – Specifications and Drawings For the complete scope of work, please refer to the Specifications and Drawings in Appendix E. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: Relocation of water entry location from electrical room to existing garbage room. Installation of new fire sprinkler system and all associated parts, per the drawings and specifications. Installation of new fire alarm system and all associated parts, per the drawings and specifications. The project includes all associated mechanical, electrical, testing, and commissioning work, as well as inspections and verification by the City and Fire Department prior to system acceptance.
