UK In-Market Representation Services for Destination Ontario

Scope of work

• What: Destination Ontario requires a United Kingdom-based agency to act as its in-market representative across five areas — market representation, strategic advice, and account management; travel trade business development; media and public relations; consumer marketing, social media, and influencer activity; and administrative and operational support. Work is split into Core Deliverables, delivered throughout the term, and Optional Deliverables activated at Destination Ontario's discretion and subject to written approval, including support for the France and Republic of Ireland markets. Why: The United Kingdom is Ontario's largest overseas source market. A resourced in-market presence maintains and grows travel trade and media relationships and advances Ontario's position as a preferred destination for high-value UK travellers. When: The contract is anticipated to start in January 2027.The successful bidder will transition in from the outgoing supplier. The confirmed start date will be set out in the resulting Agreement. Where: Services are delivered in the United Kingdom. The successful bidder must be based in or near London, with dedicated office space and the ability to travel to all major UK cities.
