Upper Canada Village Food and Beverage Services Provider

Scope of work

• The St. Lawrence Parks Commission (SLPC) is procuring a non-consulting service to provide food and beverage operations at three venues located at the Upper Canada Village. These venues are: • Willard’s Hotel - Located inside the UCV attraction, this venue offers indoor sit-down meal service with a full menu offering of period-style meals and afternoon tea. • Harvest Barn - Located inside the UCV attraction, this venue offers, cafeteria style sit-down meal offerings with both outdoor and indoor seating options. • Ice Cream Hut – Located outside the entrance to UCV, this venue is currently setup as a Beavertail's franchise and prior to this was an ice cream hut. All three are open during all operational hours of the attraction. Food and beverage services are a critical part of the attraction’s operations. With over 200,000 guests coming to the attraction annually, there is an expectation that these services are available. The contract start date will be April 1, 2027. The intention is to have the contract awarded and finalized in advance to allow for sufficient planning and transition time.
